General Description

This guidebook presents a road log with 11 stops in lower and middle Ordovician rocks in northeast Arkansas. The principal road log is from Batesville, Independence County to Evening Shade, Sharp County, with a return road log to Batesville. Emphasis is given to paleontological information at the stops. Also given is a generalized road log from Little Rock to Batesville (no stops).

The guidebook includes:

  • A pre-Everton geologic column for northern Arkansas
